Can anybody explain what data mining is with an example? I am confused over how it is helpful.

Data mining is a collection of processes, covering data extraction for collection, transformation via conversion, cleansing, & processing, and finally, loading for modelling or pattern defining. All of these processes contribute to data mining. The data mining information involves a number of tools and different techniques like clustering, regression, association, etc. for pattern defining. The idea behind it is to automate the thinking and processing involved in a process or project.
For example, the cloud can help us store a bulk of details, automatically generate reports of storage, and also reduce IT costs. Various digital marketing tools like ahrefs and SEMrush can help in scanning real-time customer’s web visits. It’s all because of data mining-driven analytics tools.
